Insel Pain Centre

The Insel Pain Centre was founded in September 2016 to promote improved treatment of patients with pain at the Bern University Hospital, Inselspital. In addition to caring for patients we conduct interdisciplinary research that enables us to better understand how pain functions. We can then apply what we’ve learned to help our patients.

The multidisciplinary Pain Centre is made up of nine Insel departments that frequently and regularly treat patients with pain. For more information follow the links to the (mostly German) research pages:
